How To Steal Her Frame

I once made the mistake to accept meeting a girl I picked up, at a place SHE suggested.

Women do this very often, because they are familiar with the places they suggest and they know a lot of people there. If you fall in the trap, you will find yourself in a situation where the girl knows everybody and you know no one, lowering your status immediately…

When I realized my mistake, it was already late. I was sitting at the bar, she was sitting next to me and guys started coming talking to her.

I was having a great interaction with her, when her first friend came interrupting our conversation. Not only I was caught unprepared, but she was also rude enough not to introduce me to him.

He left, we started our conversation again. It was pointless to continue from where we left it.

There SHOULD be a solution to this “hostile” environment. Hmm… better acting than thinking. Let’s face the challenge.

The first guy appeared again, trying to flirt with her…

HIM: How about we get married next week and make many children?

ME: That’s great news! You are such a perfect couple. I already picture you as a couple in my mind. I will be the best man, but to be honest… I feel pity for you. I wish you good luck with her. She is ALL yours. Thanks for saving my life!

HER: Hey!

She hit my arm. The guy introduced himself to me and we talked for a while. He was actually not that bad.

Another guy came. As soon as he started talking, I interrupted him, introducing myself to him.

ME (to him): So, how do you guys know each other?

HIM: I am a musician and we’ve met at a concert.

ME: Cool man! I am a musician too. What’s your instrument?

We started discussing about music leaving HER out of the conversation. In about 10 minutes she started throwing me pop corn, in 15 minutes she kicked my leg playfully.

ME (to her): Hey, can’t you see we are having a conversation here? Sorry I talked while you were interrupting.

She started laughing. To be honest, she couldn’t do otherwise; she wanted attention.

I ended the conversation and talked with her for some time. Some minutes later she calls the bar tender to order a bear. She called him with his first name, and she replied calling her with her first name. They knew each other quite well.

ME (to the bar tender): Is she always like that? …never asking if somebody else wants a drink?

BT: Well…

ME: I know, she takes care of me, because I’m going to drive her home later.

She laughed.

Well, the solution to this problem was simple: I befriended everybody talking to her, started a conversation, quickly find a common interest and finally leaving my date out of the conversation.

I was stealing her friends… I stole her frame. By the end of the night f-closing had never been easier…
